The Corona virus has an unexpected effect on RV life, none of it favorable for our way of life. No matter how fast this pandemic is under control, life in a Van will become more complex, with fewer campsites available.
Continued Destruction of Native American Graves
The US Government is now destroying Native American burial sites in Arizona, to build a wall on the border with Mexico. Located in Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, the destruction may include cultural artefacts thousands of years old.
San Elizario, TX
The Presidio Chapel of San Elizario was built in 1877 at the same place where an earlier Mexican chapel stood. The building is located in the central square of San Elizario, only a few miles south-southeast of El Paso.
El Morro National Monument, NM
El Morro’s fame comes from it’s rain and snow fed pool, which has been a well-known and reliable source for water, first serving the Atsinna Ancestral Puebloan settlement and later the many thirsty travelers on their way to the west.
